C+ Astro is the songwriting project of Erick Castro, an independent artist based between New Jersey and New York.

The work centers on moments people experience but rarely articulate - staying when leaving would be easier, leaving when staying costs more, and the quiet decisions that reshape a life long before anyone notices.

The writing is direct, restrained, and intentionally sparse, leaving space for the listener rather than guiding them toward a conclusion. Rather than chasing trends or spectacle, C+ Astro prioritizes clarity and honesty. Each song is written to stand on its own, released only when it needs to be said.

The project is built on the belief that emotional accuracy matters more than emotional volume. The debut body of work, It Got Too Real Inside, was written during periods of silence, distance, and internal reckoning. The music does not seek attention - it waits for the listener who recognizes themselves in it.
